"It's me. I have tendencies."

At this point the lady picks up her cold coffee and takes a sip, a purely habitual action. The bell on the doorknob chimes as a good-looking man steps in, wearing a sharply tailored suit with gold cufflinks.

The lady turns her eyes from him and continues to stare out the window.

"I do it, not for want. But for need."

An odd smell shatters her reverie as smoke creeps out from under the kitchen counter. Occupants of the once peaceful restaurant rush to leave the place. Even the good-looking man she had seen earlier seems to be in a hurry.

"Maybe it's time for a change."

The lady plucks out a 10 dollar bill from her bag and sets it beside her now empty cup. She rises from her seat and takes a glance at the empty chair on the other side of her table.

Laughing to herself she walks calmly out.

"Maybe not."
